Myles J. Schneider, DPM
Myles J. Schneider grew up in the Bronx, New York City. He received his undergraduate degree from New York University and his degree in Podiatric Medicine- formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He did his specialty training training at Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Detroit, Michigan. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He retired from practicing podiatry at the Annandale Foot and Ankle Center in Annandale Virginia after fifty years in 2020.
He is the coauthor of several books with Mark D. Sussman, DPM. These books are entitled: How to Doctor Your Feet Without the Doctor, The Family Foot Care Book, The Athlete’s Health Care Book from the Hip Down, and The 10 Most Common Foot Problems We See. Myles also authored Moss Brown’s Runner’s Log and To Be Or Not To Be Healthy-For most of us this is a choice.
His books have been excerpted in many magazines and newspapers including McCall’s, Prevention Magazine, The Working Woman, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Journal Papers among others. He has written articles for various national magazines including Shape, Runner’s World, and Running Times. He has been written about in People Magazine and has appeared on many local and national radio and television shows, including The Larry King Show, The Phil Donahue Show, Morning Break, PM Magazine, and The Regis Philbin Lifestyle Show.
